Baby Fix

Yesterday baby Noah came to spend the morning with us. Such fun!! He is growing up so fast and yet he weighs as much as a feather!! Seriously he probably weighs what mine do at 4months :)
We did a lot in the few hours he spent with us........................

He concocted naughty plans with Ari

He helped me out with the dishes(gotta start them young I say)

Then he had some lunch

He then found out that there are such things as dogs HIS SIZE and thought that was great!!! He is used to really really big doggies and this was a fun change for him:)

Then we picked Norah up from school but were early so we had to play in the playground and then to watch the bigger kids eat lunch(and have a bottle) at M&R's house and then home to meet up with mommy..............

Zoo time

Yesterday it worked out that I had the entire day (until getting Isaac from school) with the little man. So instead of doing the usual and hanging around the house we went to the zoo...

It was so incredibly nice to go with just him, for him to make all the directional decisions, all the decisions actaully. We did a lot of this

we also spent a ton of time in the "frog" room listening to the different frogs. He was also a big fan to the "car" that the zookeepers drove around and thought that it was indeed part of the zoo and as such he could sit in it, and even try to take it for a drive:)

It was easy to see that he's not used to being the solo kid. At one point a mom and dad said to their little men "ok, lets go boys" and Ari turns around and off he goes with them:)
Oh did I mention that when I pulled up there were 7 school buses in the lot...cringe..
He did indeed try to go with the many different groups of kids and it was fun to watch him......

The only time he was unhappy with things was when a chicken ate the grips that had fallen off him when he got out of the stroller and started eyein the stroller for more. I told Ari that he may jump up into the stroller to get what he left behind and Ari didn't think that was such a good plan and started telling the chicken "NO" over and over:)

All in all we had an awesome time with each other. VERY peaceful, quiet and unrushed, just the way I like it!
*******Ahhhhh the life with just one, how quickly we forget how quiet and peaceful it was*******

Today we had Norah's first ever soccer game and Isaac's second game of the season and what a miserable cold, rainy time it was but what FUN to watch them play... I'll post pictures after I get warm and rested!!

This kid is so stinking cute!

I failed folks, F-A-I-L-E-D!! See I started reading this blog about a woman who is a mother of 6 and is writing about her battle with weight and weightloss. I like it and love encouraging people on the road to healthy:)

Well reading and commenting on her it gave me to motivation to try better myself and I actually went 6 days people without ANY chocolate!! 6DAYS!! I was still in shock, still am!!! Mind you I had other sweets but just not chocolate(and I don't think special k chocolate whatever it's called counts)

We went to my moms house the other day and I told myself "just don't go in the kitchen and you'll be fine" well as willpower is known to do, it left..... Then she brings out her secret stash and says help yourself and you know I did.... Stuffed as many candy bars as I could in my pockets and had 3 that day!!

6days and now I can't start over until they are gone(should probably eat them all today eh?).... I wonder if those 6days helped contribute to my massive headache/neck ache that I've dealt with............

Soccer

Picture if you will soccer practice Thursday. It's awesome sunny and warm, kids are in shorts and t's sweating up a storm, kids and dad rode bikes to practice, I walked Onyx:)


Now picture if you will the first soccer game of the season, Saturday morning 8 stinkin 30am. Winter jackets, gloves, chairs, blankets, hats and snacks!!!

Only in stupid Michigan people, but what ya gonna do this is where the family is.........................








I think she actually had tears from the bitter January wind that was a blowing!

Know what stinks real bad............................. Taking a quick shower while the little people are napping only to look down at the ground and see behind you a big (like almost the size of a quarter) black THING there..... AND you know you don't have your contacts in and all you can tell is that it looks like those BIG OL SPIDERS that you've been seeing around the house........................... SHIT!!!!!!

I rinsed my hair while standing on the floor(outside the shower) with my head tilted over so I could see the black spot move!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calm and peaceful Saturday morning to ya

How nice it is to wake up and not have a needy little man here! I say that in the nicest way possible. Chrs and I took Isaac, Norah and my niece Olyvia to a concert last night and had Ari go to grandma and papa's house(overnight, hey he's 2 it's bought time right)!! woo hoo!!! We did drop Isaac off after the show to sleep over, mainly because it made me feel better that Ari would have "home" with him, plus he LOVES Isaac :)

When we dropped him off Ari had been sleeping for some time:) I sure hope he slept the entire night for them...............

Oh we saw KJ52, Group 1 Crew and a few others........

Now when we got home is when all hell broke loose thanks to "Ranger"!! We sure are glad he goes home today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chew thru a gate, open my fridg, eat everything he was able to get out, pull out a 12pk of Coke(by the can) then drink 1 can then piss all over my house, on my couch, my new couch pillows!! He has overstayed his welcome..........

I'm just a tad in shock. Hail the size of big ol jelly beans in my yard! I have never seen the like here before.....

Privacy what?!?! Ohhhhhhhh yaaaaaaa

AND after, up stained and all... MAN that was A LOT of work :) We were given a precious 4hrs kid free yesterday afternoon(Thanks papa and grandma) not sure if that's ever happened before??? anyway so we had all but the final panel up when they got home and today, last panel and then staining during nap time................

You see we bought this house about 5yrs ago and when we moved in I told Chrs how tired I was with sharing my backyard with the neighborhood and I wanted privacy fence up asap....... It was worth the wait..... Now I'm going to give him a few days and then the other half of my want for the past 5 years will need to happen...........and I'll leave you with that :)

The past week has just flown by! We decorated eggs and this year I tried just buying 1 kit for them to share(the other way just brought on to much fighting) and well this didn't work well either! All they do these days is fight, Ari had a hard time understanding the egg thing and just had a fit, overall we tried to make the best of it but it was bad:( There's always next year:) In my house growing up we always had to find Easter eggs all over the house and the Easter bunny would bring your favorite candy and 1 little toy.





My kiddos don't really play with toys, so this year the bunny got them, make yourself moccasins, shrinky dinks(with over 40 different girlie bracelets, earrings, hair clips to make)and a finger paint kit with sponges:) That part was a fun success the actual fining of the eggs...........................turns out sister didn't listen and proceeded to find ALL the eggs but 3 and ticked off big brother:(

The past few days Chrs has been home with us and we have stained the deck and put up some privacy fence. 1 more panel and we'll be all done with that:) woo hoo, 5years in the dreaming stage and it's finally getting done, I love it!!!!!
